After qualifying, please allow up to 8 weeks for bonus miles to post to your Avianca LifeMiles ('LifeMiles') account. 'Eligible Purchases'' do not include balance transfers, cash advances, travelers checks, foreign currency, money orders, wire transfers or similar cash-like transactions, lottery tickets, casino gaming chips, race track wagers or similar betting transactions, crypto-currency transactions, any checks that access your account, interest, unauthorized or fraudulent charges, and fees of any kind, including the annual fee. To be eligible for this bonus offer, your Card Account must be open and current at the time of fulfillment. If your card account does not remain open for at least six months from Account opening, Cardless and LifeMiles Ltd. ('LifeMiles') reserve the right to deduct the bonus miles from your LifeMiles account. The number of miles required to redeem a flight may vary depending on the destination and the availability of products and/or services, promotional campaigns, and other factors of Avianca Group International Limited ('Avianca') and Partner airlines. You will not earn elite status based on any 'bonus' miles accrual, such as sign-up/welcome bonuses and regular promotions, including any seasonal promotional campaigns.

Earning Miles

How you can earn Miles: You will earn redeemable miles (Miles) on Eligible Purchases of products and services, minus returns, refunds or disputed charges, made with your avianca lifemiles American Express® elite card. Buying products and services with your Card, in most cases, will count as an Eligible Purchase.

Miles are earned as follows:

You will earn 1 Mile for each $1 spent on Eligible Purchases.
You will earn a total of 2 Miles for each $1 spent on Eligible Purchases charged with merchants whose merchant code with American Express is classified as restaurants.
You will earn a total of 2 Miles for each $1 spent on Eligible Purchases charged with merchants whose merchant code with American Express is classified as passenger railways, cruise lines, air carriers, airlines (except for Avianca or LifeMiles), airports, airport terminals, travel agencies and tour operators, direct marketplace - travel related arrangement services, timeshares, car rental operators, hotel, motel, bus lines, transit, and taxi.
You will earn a total of 3 Miles for each $1 spent of Eligible Purchases charged directly with LifeMiles or Avianca. Please note that certain on-board or in-flight purchases, gift cards, vacation packages, or purchases of Miles may be processed through a third-party merchant and thus would not earn 3 Miles. Those purchases will earn 1 Mile for each $1.
Miles are rounded down to the nearest dollar (for example, a $45.85 Eligible Purchase would earn 45 Miles).

Information about earning/transferring Miles to LifeMiles: Miles earned during a billing cycle are generally transferred to LifeMiles after the end of each billing cycle but may take up to eight 8 weeks after the close of the billing cycle. Losing Miles: You will immediately lose all Miles that have not been transferred to LifeMiles if your card account status changes, or your card account is closed for program misuse, fraudulent activities, failure to pay, bankruptcy or other reasons described in the terms of the avianca lifemiles American Express® Elite Card Rewards Program Agreement. Rewards Categories: Merchants who accept American Express cards are assigned a merchant identifier, which is determined by the merchant or its processor in accordance with Visa procedures. We use merchant identifiers for the purpose of making rewards offers to you. Purchases submitted by you, an authorized user, or the merchant through third-party payment accounts, mobile or wireless card readers, online or mobile digital wallets, or similar technology will not qualify in a rewards category if the technology is not set up to process the purchase in that rewards category. Please note that we make every effort to include all relevant merchant codes in our rewards categories. However, even though a merchant, or some of the items that it sells, may appear to fit within a rewards category, the merchant may not have a merchant code in that category.

Redemption Discounts and Bonus Miles with LifeMiles+

As an avianca lifemiles American Express® elite card cardholder, you also receive complimentary Lite membership to LifeMiles+. With Lite LifeMiles+ membership, you are entitled to a double Miles credit each statement cycle up to a maximum of 1,000 Miles for each statement cycle. In addition, you are eligible for certain other enhanced benefits, including discounts on flights with Avianca and Star Alliance member airlines. LifeMiles, not Cardless, is solely responsible for crediting your LifeMiles Program account with discounts and with accrued Miles at the end of each statement cycle. You are eligible to maintain your Lite LifeMiles+ membership as long as your Card Account remains open and in good standing. Silver Status Perks

As an avianca lifemiles American Express® elite card cardholder, you will automatically receive LifeMiles Silver status. You are eligible to maintain LifeMiles Silver status as long as your Card Account remains open and in good standing. LifeMiles Silver status generally makes you eligible to receive certain benefits under the LifeMiles Program, such as preferred boarding, lounge access, seat upgrades, extra checked bags, and airfare ticket purchase discounts. These benefits are maintained and administered by LifeMiles. Important information about Membership Tiers: If you are an existing Silver Tier member, your initial status date will update to the first day of your card membership year. If you already have a Gold or Diamond Tier, your status, including the date of renewal will remain unchanged, and you will remain in your existing Tier. If you are not already an existing Silver Tier member, it will take at least 24 hours after the opening of your Card Account before your LifeMiles membership tier will be updated. Benefits associated with Silver Tier status will thus not be available until your membership tier is updated in your LifeMiles Program account.

LifeMiles Program Information

To maintain eligibility for rewards in the Program, you must have a valid, open, linked, and active LifeMiles Program account. Certain benefits can only be fulfilled through the LifeMiles Program, which is not a product or program of Cardless. LifeMiles is solely responsible for establishing the terms and conditions of your participation and reward accumulation in the LifeMiles Program and the administration and maintenance of your LifeMiles Program account, including any restrictions or limitations on Miles redemptions or benefits availability.

In order to participate in this Program, you must have a LifeMiles Program account or enroll in the LifeMiles Program upon the opening of your Card Account. If you do not have a LifeMiles Program account and if one is not created within thirty 30 days from the opening of your Card Account, then a LifeMiles Program account may be created for you using the email that is on file with Cardless. NOTE If a LifeMiles Program account is associated with the email you provided to Cardless, we may link to that account. Terms, conditions, and restrictions may apply. Referral program

Referral bonus subject to the terms and eligibility requirements set forth in the avianca lifemiles American Express® Elite Card Rewards Program Agreement. You can only receive a Referral Bonus when an applicant applies using your unique link and is approved for a Cardless credit card prior to the expiration of this offer.
